I have a deep passion for what “home” means to you, and I believe so strongly that it’s a huge contributor to the well being of a family. I am all about beautiful, engaging design, but it must be within the context of serving the sense of community in a family. I believe it’s critical to provide spaces in the lives of those who live in the home to grow personally and corporately.

Where can someone sit and read?  Where can they work on a project where it remains as it gets completed without leaving the house a mess? What’s the right level of privacy for children without contributing to disconnectedness? Are the gathering spaces inviting, comfortable and ready facilitators of joyful experiences and memory building? I care deeply that the place you live supports your peace and enjoyment of life.

With this in mind, I look to draw and clarify your ideals, cultivate it, and see it realized. My work is to understand your family, style, budget, and passions, and then draw them together with beautiful and creative design which really reflects who you are.  I provide inspiration, guidance, and execution so that by project completion you feel known and honored by the process and in what your home reflects. My approach is holistic, in that all the details are continually considered to bring about:

·         A home that facilitates your life and it’s activities-- that works hard, plays hard, and presents beautifully, so that you continually enjoy the spaces—the way they look, feel and flow.

·         A home that reflects your values – what is important to you, what you love, who you love, your sense of hospitality, your engagement with life, culture and each other.

·         A home that is a sanctuary -- wonderfully cohesive, yet maintains critical design tensions creating dynamic spaces and a wonderful sense of visual discovery as you move throughout your home.

Bringing you to the point of completion, having honored your budget, created beautiful, functional spaces, and relieved you of the majority of the pressures and headaches involved in achieving the vision.

Gratefully,
